Absolutely!  

That would be an excellent application for Leatherique.  Do understand that it 
may darken the leather slightly if it matters.

I would cover them with Leatherique and then put them in a plastic garbage bag 
and set it in the sun for a day or two.  I'll bet they come out feeling like 
new.
