Theres a difference between "one needs" and "one can buy new". IIRC you have to buy the handle and all if you buy new but used you should be able to get (like from a junkyard) the lock cylinder pretty cheap. I'd had to know what MB charges. Wilton sold me a couple door handles with locks pretty reasonable a few years ago. I sold Loren a full car's worth of locks a few years later also for a reasonable price.
