Philip, As you said, I can only relate my personal experience with ethanol. And that is, my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.9 liter magnum V8 does not like ethanol gas. It idles rougher and it gets about 2 mpg less. Again, this is my experience with a big engine. When I can find Marathon out in the country without ethanol, I fill up the truck and it's happy for awhile. Unfortunately, I live too close to Atlanta and the state requires the stations to sell ethanol added gas within what's considered the metro area. However, I've used it in my gas weed trimmer and 3 lawn mowers with no problems that I've noticed as it relates to small engines. Best Wishes, Roger Roger Hale Dinnerware Classics, Inc.
