We had a steam cleaner thread going on here some time ago. Cannot recall who, but someone had acquired a steam cleaner at a used goods store. I wondered at the time about making one as the basic store bought things seem to be too much plastic. I had sort of forgotten all that. Will have to look around and see what might be available. Would sure help to clean the BBQ I expect.

I would not get too excited with a pressure wand, but you can do great work
with a steam wand. Less likely to blast something apart, and much cleaner in
the end. I had the R107 steamed after #1 boy had his W140 come back looking
showroom new under the bonnet.

If you can moderate your pressure to a bit more vigorous than a garden hose,
using brake cleaner and elbow grease will give really good results

Anything I need to be careful with or concerned about?
Or can I just spray the cleaner stuff about and then use the pressure washer to
rinse it good?

A bit dirty under there and I need to do some work so it would be cleaner for
me if I clean the engine compartment first.
