Probably true.
Supply and demand has a lot to do with it too I guess.
I bought mine here where there are very few.
You folks were buying them cheap down in the USA where there tended to
be a lot more of them.
I suspect, unfortunately, that there are a lot fewer now as people don't
take care of them and treat them as beaters or try to run the waste oil
through them and beat them up in that manner.
