Or, maybe take it to someone who does that sort of work.
I suspect that it is a bit of an art and that an experienced plastic welder might do a whole lot better than an amateur.

With that in mind, I hear a lot of bd things about aftermarket bumper covers. Would you recommend getting a used one from a pick and pull and just repainting it to match the car?
