Find a local IT guy and buy a used one. I deal with a small business that sells and services computers. I have bought a number of used computers over the years for $100 to $200 and have had very little trouble. One did not work and was replaced without any argument. They won't be state of the art and they may have some scratches on the case but that has not deterred me. Bigger companies often clear house and put in all new computers and these get sold by the pallet load to people like my guy who then flog them for a bit of profit.
