Yep, but I'm a "product" of local public school, too, and a state
university (lota "federal" schoolin', too). What one gets out of it is
directly proportional to what he puts onto it. Too many parents just
don't give a damned. It all starts at home.

We must be fair in recognizing that he is most likely a product of the
local public school system, as far as he might have gone, and that his
primary language is most likely not the relatively standard version of
English.
