What did he quote you? I've got one, I can't remember if its a II or III, curious what it might be worth. I've got a High Standard .22 that I like better. I made custom pine grips for it when I was in high school, dad said they wouldn't last but I shot a lot for the first few years after I made them and that was more than 20 years ago. I shot it last summer and the grips are still good.
