No inspection in Florida. I've heard that Virginia inspection is a real ball buster, too.
I agree about the convenience factor as far as repairs. The S420 needed a new window regulator on the right rear window. Only reason I replaced it was because my tint guys needed the window to work or they wouldn't tint the car. I don't know how long it had been that way when Tom owned it, but it appears to have been out of commission for some time. I will say that W140 window regulators are a piece of cake to replace, despite having to drill out rivets to remove them.
