My local indy tells me that this is a common occurrance and that I need a new switch. What is the list's consensus? TIA.
Indy is right. If deoxit doesn't do the trick, it's probably time for a new one. As a last-ditch effort you could try disassembling it to see what you could do, but you'd better be prepared to replace it.
