Nope, different flywheel and you can't swap the flywheel because the 300D
flywheel and crank are dynamically balanced together.

Subject: [MBZ] Will 240D Manual Tranny fit up to a 300D that came with
anAutomatic?

Could I remove the manual tranny from a 240D and put it into my 300d that
currently sports an automatic? I bought the car for a pretty good price
knowing it did not shift into high gear. When I got it home and put it up
on our lift, I discovered a brand new rebuilt tranny complete with new or
rebuilt torque converter. Since I'm not sure how to fix it, I thought about
buying on older 240D with a manual tranny and performing the swap. Can this
be done?

Sincerely,

-Scott
