Kaleb and all,

Can you confirm his claim of a 5 speed automatic was possible back then? I
never heard of one.

The engine developed 185 hp at 6200 rpm and a torque of 181 lb-ft at 4500
rpm, giving the car acceleration from standstill to 62 mph in 7.5 seconds and
a
top speed of 147 mph. The engine was combined with an automatic five-speed
transmission tuned for sporty performance. Self-leveling suspension on the
rear axle was a standard feature.
