Dad was born in 1879; Mom in 1897. Dad's first wife died during childbirth
in 1908, along with the baby. Dad and Mom's families attended same church,
same neighborhood (out in "the country"). Dad remembered when Mom was born;
they married when he was 36, she 18.
BTW, I have a photo made about 1895; in photo are Dad and Mom's dad as
teenagers about 16 - 19 and Mom's mom as a young woman in all-white frilly
dress and hat.
