Otherwise, I have a home-built generator set which has a Chevette engine which runs on propane. I currently have it set up to run at 1720 RPM and belt drive a two pole 4 kW two-bearing generator. I can replace the 4 kW with our Kato 20 - 40 kW (depending upon how you wire it) and change the pullies and belt and be putting out more power, with the Chevette engine turning 3767 RPM.
