Dang, that is nasty. I have been playing with the paint for the 300D. After pulling the antenna and the body side moldings, I have a number of holes that need attention. Bondo is doing the job for now. Silver paint on the car was sort of alligatored and some patches looked like house paint of a serious skin condition/rash/melanoma. Took 80 grit to the whole body and then used the DA sander with 120 grit to even it out. Rattle can rust stop, a dark primer and some rattle can metallic grey on top. Besides getting a bit of sun reddening, the blinding gleam from the pseudo chrome paint hurt my eyes. I might need to do something else on the hood to keep my drivers from going blind.
