Local tranny from PnP is in the $99 range. I am assuming any trans from the 1975-1979 era benz will work. 722.1xx or is it .0xx? Either way, I am not well versed on why the trans is producing more torque than the engine can defeat. If I had a clean room, I would gladly do a rebuild with a kit.
