Check the prices first. Last time I checked the offroad diesel
without tax, delivered was more per gallon than road taxed Diesel at
the pump in town.
You are likely to be stopped and have your tank dipped with the
pickup. It is unlikely with a car.
I need to get one of those tanks and get some farm diesel
