In a 126 chasis they are the same number. Maybe one is a higher
durometer

They're the same now at the dealer and aftermarket. Its been that way
for quite some time. Maybe they found a happy medium. Lefts like to
separate and rights tend to smash. Left ones will smash too if there is
fuel/oil dripping on them for years.
