Yeah, thats what I read out of it. It seems crazy to me that knowing you had a
leak they pulled the transmission and didn't replace all the exterior seals on
the trans. I'd suggest to them that they get to do this seal for free...

I suggest you misunderstood.
I believe he was suggesting your mechanic was an idiot for not replacing
easy to get at items while the transmission was out.
