HOLY SNOT!
My VW guy says just under $1500 to put a used trans into my Golf along with a
new clutch and flywheel. I didn't think that was so bad, labor is only $450.
I'm going to have him do a timing belt too, that'll probably run around $800
which will bring my total cost just up to the blue book value of a gasser...
