Same for a couple later SDs I stripped in the junk yard. My 87 300SDL does not have a PS airbag. I love the SDL (in principle; seems I love cleaning the house more in practice :) but it is not a modern car. I agree with Kaleb, anything over $4k is because you want it, not because it is intrinsically valuable to the average buyer. May be worth splitting the difference with the seller?
