Couple of additional pics I believe this was a family owned car down in OK. I don't have the full story yet but I'll dig it up, it has "the original" German plates, but I don't know how accurate that is. It's supposed that the daughter barn garaged it for like 10 years, and had been driving it recently daily until it started vapor locking / having hot start issues. Spent a little trying to fix it, and I think replaced the fuel pump, cleaned filters/screens but didn't dive deep to fully diagnose. My hope is that I'll wrap the fuel lines, replace the check valve and w the cooler weather here in IL will suitable for commuting :)
