Terminal is still there, and the underlying OS kernel is still
readily accessible for those who wish to tinker or modify.

TO get the free download can you download and not install, or does it
install on the machine you download from?
I'd like to get the copy, but I don't want to risk bricking an older
machine if it goes south. I want to sit on it a while to do more
research on performance with old intel machines.
