I owned a '68 Lotus Europa! What a kick it was to drive! When it ran, of course, which wasn't often.

Actually, I wish I still owned that Lotus - I could probably take care of it now. But I'd end up getting frustrated trying to keep it running. Also, everyhting was so incredibly *small*! They must have used "little" people to assemble them at the factory!

When I was in the Air Force, I had a 1969 Lotus Europa. I got tired of
unreliability and potential serious failure with the front suspension
"pins" on the chassis, so I bought a 1972 220D/8. What a change. The only
reason I kept it is because I thought my parents would be upset if I sold
it.
