yeah I wanted to put that setup into the TD but didn't know if the whole frame needed to be replaced or not. Anyway I had the 84 sitting around so that was what went in.

Oops, here's somebody who thinks it's only 1981-1984 W126 arms that directly
swap in,
says something about newer ones having a more advanced setup to deal with brake
dive
and squat, so you have to replace it all if you use the newer setup.
