advantage over C2D? I thought that as long as they can support dual channel RAM they will run a 64 bit OS ok (with enough RAM).
All Mac OSX is 64-bit, since 10.4 in 2005 IIRC. Intel C2's are not 64-bit, but C2D's are.
Yes, you need enough RAM. This C2D has 6GB, which allows all three family members to stay logged in simultaneously, with a 2-second switchover time.
