Whoa there Tex, the kevlar reference is a common and largely innocuous online term used when posting something that could possibly be perceived as a "flame"--which is yet another online term used to describe a repudiation of another's stated position, but not generally considered to be threatening. Kevlar you see, is flame resistant.
