Once you get the right bate, then tie a big garbage bag around the trap with animal inside, tie bag to exhaust pipe of car, tear open an exit at the back of the back, get in car, start engine and listen to radio for about 15 minutes, then shut off car and empty trap into the bag and toss the bag in the dumpster. CO puts them to sleep, they just don't like the stink but get sleepy and then never wake up.
