Thank you.
My day to day watch is an old Seiko quartz watch that I have worn since
about 1980. It is about 3/16 thick. Leather bands and batteries last
about a year. It needs another band as of yesterday. It has been cleaned
once.
I periodically buy other watches but generally don't use them and end up
giving them to my sons. I gave the younger one a pocket watch and the
older on a Seiko similar to the one being talked about recently, that
was recommended on the list a year or two back. It had the metal band.

Randy,
It's not as thin as a Skaagen, but not too thick either.
Here is a pretty good review with pix, including a side view, but no
dimension is provided for thickness:

The box mine came in was identical to those in this picture.
This is not really a dress watch, more of a nice daily wear casual watch.
It is toward the small end of the scale for a men's watch, would probably
fit a woman's wrist just fine.
Plenty of reviews out there, google knows all....

How thick is the watch? I am not all that happy with thick watches that
don't slide under my shirt sleeve easily.
