Buy a Blue parrot 250 headset to go wit yer new ifone. (or whatever
fone you use.) WAY better than the phone speaker/mike and no stupid
wires to strangle you. Only $99 at a truckstop, or 79 online. I'd
never buy the apple blutooth earphones at twice the price they should
be. I'm guessing it is better than the apple product, and for sure
will have better noise cancelling.
You should have the Blue parrot bluetooth headset for whatever fone you
have anyway. I got the first one with my Starttac. They last about 3-4
years. Longer if you replace the battery. So, the "my ifone don't ha'
no eah bud jack" whine don't hold no watah!

Do you still have it invested with Apple? The backlash at the iPhone 7
is pretty severe, it brings basically nothing to the party and takes
away the headphone port.
I know Apple has, in the past, been heralded for pushing the world
forward but I can't see this as anything other than a bad move. Most
people weren't using floppy disks, or firewire or optical drives but
most people use wired headphones...
Looks like the stock has taken a little dip lately but nothing much,
it'll be interesting to see how the 7 sells.

I'm not sure about that. My self managed IRA is based on Apple stock
that I started purchasing regularly over 20 years ago. There have been
three splits since I started investing in Apple. I couldn't tell you
what my ROI is, but I'm guessing it's in at least the high three digit
range.
If you invested $1000 in their stock in 1980 when they went public you
would have around $350k in round numbers, which would put your ROI in
the 31,000% range, I believe.
