I got my generator running this afternoon. It was totally cruddy I had to clean all kinds of jelly from the carb. Fired up on first pull after that. I know....
Anyway the thing has always had this tendency to run maybe 45min or an hour then just shut off. It's been doing that today too. Give it a yank and it fires right up again. A coupla times it almost quit like that but then caught again and ran. It has a low oil shutoff but plenty of oil so I don't think that is it but maybe that is the issue, bad switch or something? (Oops just did it again.)Any ideas? Whatever it is annoying. Runs fine otherwise (now that I cleaned it up). It is a 5500W Troybuilt B&S engine the PO left for me.
