 I don't know from BSD but Mac OS X is UNIX with a tasty front-end. OS 
X comes with the applications Terminal and Console which use the UNIX 
command line which I also know very little about.
 I have used some UNIX for troubleshooting/diagnostics under the close 
supervision of experts. I'm afraid to go in alone, as I feel I would 
create a greater problem.

I too have seen the rotella fully synthetic at places including Walmart. 
Any info on this group?/Tom
