I did the ATF change a few days ago. Took it for a drive, checked level, got
under and looked for leaks. The thing was buttoned up tight. Dry as it has
never been, and clean.

Today, I go out to try to take the SDL for an errand and it will not fire off.
There is a wet shadow all under the car. At a glance it looked like rain that
had yet to dry. Closer, and it looked red and there was a drip coming off the
passenger rear corner of the pan. Lots of fluid, maybe a cup or so on the
ground. I had to hook up the charger for a few hours to get enough electrons
for it to light off, then drove it up a ramp.

When I got under, I could see what looked like damp along the seal from mid pan
bolt to the rear bolt. I brake cleanered it and waited to see what happened.
There was a second drip. It was coming from midline at the rear of the pan,
and though small beads, it was faster than the side. I loosened the two bolts
to see if that would hasten or slow the leakage. It did not. I was very
careful in making sure the seal had seated well and wiped the mating surface at
the trans. The seal is new and supple. Had been lubed with atf both inside
and out. What could be going on?

I will have to drop the pan and refill if I am not able to get this thing to
really seal.
