A friend who lives on IOP tracks a Miata with a team of guys, I should ask him about such goings on. I think the Miata has an engine from some other marque, maybe a SBC or something like that. Very redneck, upsets the purists. They have done of the LeMons races, some "serious" races, I've been invited to tag along and I've got to do that one of these days.
