7k is ok for a nice car in good shape with no major maintenance on the
horizon.

My dad hopped into the e420 at the airport the other day and said "how much
did you pay for this car again?" I said 7k. He said "this is a lot of car
for 7k".

Feels like a steal compared to alternatives. It basically looks new from 10
feet. Low taxes, cheap to register etc.

It's almost comical to feel like I have to justify the price, given what
people drop on new cars these days.
