It is probably overkill and not that cheap but a lower end Surface pro 3 is a great computer if you dont mind a smallish touch screen. Extremely portable. Runs everything. No cd drive, just a usb and a mini dvi out jack. It is old generation now and seemed cheapish last time i looked.
