123 tumblers are simplicity to clean and lube once removed. My '83 240D was
getting slightly sticky, I cleaned and lubed and it was good for several more
years.

Pull the tumbler now and take it to a reputable locksmith. The W123 tumblers
are NLA from the fatherland or classic center. Lock jock will clean and
rebuild the tumbler and cut you a reference key based on VIN to fit.
