There has been. I’ve just never heard from anyone with direct, documented experience, that’s all.
The 300SEL owners are looking to unload, or so it would seem. I’ve had some discussions with them on a burner account I use, and they already asked me if I wanted to make an offer. I’m thinking it could be a nice $1500 car. The car looks really clean for its age and mileage.
