It’s possible it was a Four Seasons compressor - I thought I recalled seeing a 
Denso metal tag on it when I was taking the cover off the manifold.

I can’t complain, as it works great and I’ve had no problems.  They offer a two 
year guarantee as long as you replace all the components in the kit and have 
proof that the system was flushed (I have the receipt for the AC flush I used, 
which they said is perfectly acceptable.)
