Wiki has a excellent description of these and other 911s. Demand and availability have combined to push prices for excellent ones to over $100K. They have become so collectable some people have taken later 911s and attempted to back-date the car to the 73 911 Carrera RS. This is no problem of course as long as the seller is open about what he has done.
