I started to undertake this process on my own until I realized my formerly substantial supply of wet sanding paper was somehow nowhere near what I recalled it being.
That said, it’s not a terribly difficult job to do if you had all the right grits of paper available. I had a couple of gaps in grits, so when I took on the left front headlight a week or two ago I had to skip some grits which yielded a less than satisfactory (to me) result. Hence the reasoning for buying the 3M kit. For $13 I figured I couldn’t go wrong. -D > On Aug 19, 2017, at 12:50 PM, Craig via Mercedes <mercedes@okiebenz.com> > wrote: > > On Sat, 19 Aug 2017 11:15:37 -0400 Dan Penoff via Mercedes > <mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: > >> Second thing on the list was to polish the headlights, which were >> getting a little cloudy. >> >> Got this kit from 3M via Amazonia: >> >> https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AIZ5HY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 >> >> They make about four different versions of this kit ranging from $12 up >> to over $30.
