If you look at the video of the car, post impact at the far left side of road, it appears the point of first impact with the semi's front bumper is just ahead of the rear wheel a little aft of mid point of the rear quarter panel/door...
By my view, that would mean her path of impact was simply she cut into the semi's line of travel far to early and without clearing the front of the truck. That view is further supported by how the car was moved broad side while the poor trucker SLAMMED brakes. The truck caught the balance point of the car [fortunately] which permitted it to be shoved side ways, rather than driving over it. Truly lucky to have survived instead of being killed.... Trucker no doubt has flat spots on 18 tires now.... the tire smoke cloud continues for several seconds after impact... Convinced me I need MORE cameras than just one pointing forward... although, the one forward has already paid for it's self many times over in just the one wreck it recorded. I note, the camera on the video has both GPS position AND time .... perfect.
