I try to run the AC with outside air as much as possible so that
the condensed humidity can wash the garbage off the evaporator. I
don't know if it's that humid up there but it might help if wife
tends to run it closed system most of the time.

This car does a terrible job at filtering the fresh air, to much dirt and
leaves get in.
