Rear window removal.... Pull chrome trim... you'll need to look at the
parts schematic to see how it goes on... Use a spray bottle with a stiff
mix of dish soap and water to "lubricate" everything first... get the
lubricant into all the slits in the rubber the chrome strips set in.. will
need to use a plastic putty knife to open them a bit... Do the same with
the soap mix on the inside the car lip.

With the chrome trim out of the way, there is a round rubber fill piece
that runs around the whole window rubber. Pick one end out of it's slot and
gently but firmly pull it out.. helps to add more dish soap spray and pry
gently with the plastic putty knife [or nylon if you have one is good]....

Once the lock strip is out... go to inside and work the inside lip away
from the window opening. It will be stiff and glued in from age. [not glue]
wet it down with soap spray bottle...

Next step works best if you have a helper... and a big suction cups with
handles on them... [Harbor Freight sells them] Two works better, one in
each hand.. at each end of the window [about 1/3 in actually] Outside guy
pulls on window gently... inside guy works the rubber gasket over the
window lip at the top.... then the sides... weight of window rests on the
bottom lip until it is tilted out.... then after checking suction cups for
grip... glass is lifted out free of gasket... or with gasket.. however it
comes free...

Alternate method: Look at rubber gasket, determine it's not worth
saving,,,, pull chrome strips off and with a sharp knife, cut the gasket
outer lip off at the surface of the glass... pull glass away from
opening... done....

The gasket I have on the broken window is "use-able" so just the glass is
OK... if you go that route.

Thanks,
Grant...
