Great buy, if only for the parts to convert a nice 300D turbo to a 4 speed.
And despite what Marshall said, the combination works really well. Regarding the loss of boost when shifting, this is nonsense. Turbo gas engines with manual transmissions have this much worse than 617a would have it. There is no throttle plate which closes to stop the air flow and slow down the turbo on the 617 when you let off the gas. I'm planning on building another one of these one day.
