It should be fun AND frustrating and long and difficult and exciting. The sellers did make some immediate repairs when they bought it such as replacing several windows some of the wood floors have been refinished. There was a minor leak in the roof and they addressed it already. As part of that repair some of the lath and plaster in the dining room will have to be repaired. But, the problems that HAD to be addressed immediately were done. They were living there for the last few months. So, we know we can live there while we go through the process. I still have my house in Wichita so we don't have to move into this one until it sells -- although the sooner we move, the sooner I can stop commuting 120 miles a day. Has anyone had a whole house rewired? That's the project I am most anxious about.
