It is not speed that kills, it is differences in speed. Kind of like when they say the fall won't kill you, it's the sudden stop at the end.
I think there used to be a statistic that said something like 90% of all the road collisions happen to vehicles that are either in the top 10% of the "normal" speed or in the bottom 10%. The lesson was don't be the fastest car on the road, but don't be the slowest car either. Perhaps the Pious drivers aren't in either group most of the time? Regardless, driving slower than most drivers is making you a "hazard to navigation" which is not a good place to be. ------------- Max Charleston SC On Tue, Nov 14, 2017 at 9:41 PM, archer75--- via Mercedes < mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: > > Why isn't the world famous Prius on that list? > In my opinion Prius is one of the safest cars on the road for one > principal reason: We Prius drivers drive slowly and carefully. > _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
