JB Weld!

You can have a testimonial on the box.  "Larry T used JB WELD to set his knee joint in his femur and it has lasted for 15 YEARS!"

Engine blocks, knee implants...

They said I am allergic to the bone cement they use which caused the 1st two to loosen and break, #3 was a temp spacer used while we did the allergy tests and #4 lasted a little over 3 years.  #5 is in now.  After two weeks they did x-rays which showed the upper stem of the prosthesis had moved upward into my femur.  We stopped PT to give the bone time to stabilize around the stem which it did after 6 weeks, then I started PT with a vengeance (as much a was safe).  I am now walking with a walker.  Hopefully I will walk with a cane someday...
Everyday is an adventure!

Correct. It's where the rear suspension attaches to the body. The
shop said they could separate the body from the suspension using a
pry bar - it was completely detached on the passenger side.

Max gave me some great suggestions for getting it out of my
driveway.   Not sure what I'll be doing yet.  I've had 3 complete
knee replacements and am recovering from the 4th which wasn't
going well at first but seems to be healing OK now.   So parting
it out will make things difficult although it would keep me active ;-)
