Its a pretty good video and his shot of contaminated fluid looks just like mine. I wonder if his test strips are doing coolant (glycol) or just water. I'm pretty sure our problem is just water. I know its not coolant from the engine since this is hydraulic oil and its not cooled by the engine. Still not sure how the water got in there...

I just saw a couple YouTube videos that addressed this if caused by coolant contamination via the transmission cooler in the radiator. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wW4YbQVY7yo <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wW4YbQVY7yo&t=731s> &t=731s The important messages were (1) this will ruin the tranny and (2) there is an easy and cheap way to test for coolant contamination in the ATF. Maybe I’m just gullible, but this looke legit to me. _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
